This is a benign condition which ***cannot*** be diagnosed definitively by pelvic exam. An MRI can do it. Fibroids are benign muscle growths (0.27% are malignant leimyosarcomas) that are either inside the uterus, in the wall of the uterus or outside the uterus. If you're not having a problem, why have surgery? HRT shouldn't cause a problem with adenomyosis. RUN. FAST.
