I am so sorry for your loss. I hope and pray for a successful conclusion to your next pregnancy.

What I tell my patients is that after any pregnancy, whether it be full term, mid trimester loss, first trimester loss, ectopic pregnancy or abortion, the first few periods may be short, long, heavy, light, constant, intermittent, bright red or dark brown. That's usually normal but if you have any concerns always call your doctor.
