Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Unusual periods after D&C" I lost a baby at 16 weeks due to incompetent cervix. I had 2 D&C (second for retained products) and my periods have been funny ever since. The first one started with a brown discharge which gradually turned red. The present period whcih is the second after the D&C started normally but I am still bleeding after 11 days. My doctor thinks is due to the hormones not being at normal levels yet.She says I can take some tablets to stop the bleeding but I'm not to keen on that. I am extremely worried as I amanxious to start trying again. Can you please help? Thank you.
