Moderate drinking (one glass of wine with dinner, 2 or 3 occasionally) isn't a problem.

As my wise RE said to me, "don't stop living life just because you are trying to get pregnant." Translation: it's okay to have an occasional drink (like a glass of wine with dinner) when you are trying to get pregnant. Once you have that positive pregnancy test, abstain (it is *probably* ok to have a rare glass of wine on special occasions --- but every day is not a special occasion!)

More than 300mg of caffeine (3-4 cups of coffee) *may* increase the risk of miscarriage, so I recommend no more than 2 caffinated beverages a day. As far as the Nutrasweet goes, I again use the "no more than 2 rule" (it's my very own rule, not based on any science, but I like it!)

A common problem -- ask your doctor, or us. >
