A sonohysterogram is avaginal sonogram done with a tiny plastic tube inserted into the uterus just at or beyond the cervix. Sterile saline is instilled into the uterus to help visualize the inside of the uterus. thsi assists in evaluating for fibroids, polyps and other physical problems. This doesn't hurt and, in fact, mpst people feel nothing other than the sonogram. The endometrial biopsy is about a 10 second cramp for most people. with rare exceptions, patients tolerate this very well without any anesthesia at all. Good luck with the testing.
