It is not fair nor wise to think that physicians would answer this type of question on the Internet and lay-people could be risking someone's life by doing so.

Amen. Of course there *are* OTC things a woman could take/use, but the point is, they're DANGEROUS and should NOT be used. If they were safe and effective, they'd be advertised as such - and they're not. That has to tell you something. Any time you mess with a major organ in the human body, you create some risk to that person's health. Even the surgical abortion methods used today carry some very small risk, but at least if a problem occurs then, the woman is under medical care. If a woman attempts to self-induce an abortion, and something goes wrong, will she even know, or be able to call for medical help if she needs it?

I'm no advocate of abortion, but having been pregnant myself, I certainly understand why someone might want or need to make use of it. But Jimmy, whatever your choice is, I hope you involve a doctor or other trained medical professional.
