Tetanic contractions means the uterus keeps contracting without easing up and relaxing -- in other words, extra long, extra strong contractions. They are most often caused by medication like pitocin, although occasionally they will occur spontaneously, more often in an obstructed labor (baby too big for pelvis, for examople)

Could it be caused by Uterine Didlephys?

Maybe, if that lead to an obstructed labor.

Will it >likely happen again?

Depends on why it happened in the first place. If you were on pitocin when it happened, it will likely not happen again, but if pitocin is used again, it shuld be very closely monitored.

Does it cause the uterus to become weaker?

Not really.

Yes.

So where as if I was to get pregnant in the left side, >problems MAY be the same, if not worse?

Possibly. >
