Ever since the birth of my last child and subsequent tubal ligation, I have been suffering from frequent periods. I have bleeding anywhere from 10-15 days per month. If it's not bleeding, it's some other type of discharge. I frequently have burning after urination as well as the constant need to urinate even after I have just gone to the bathroom. Monthly, when my period finally stops, I have a brownish discharge for a few days that eventually tapers off to clear and a foul, very offensive odor and slight to moderate itching. I am having a D&C and hysteroscopy soon as well as cystodilation by a urologist. Could these problems be related to one problem, or are they separate disruptions to my life? I was hoping to kill three birds with one stone, but I'm not so confident. My doctor asked if I had a history of endometriosis and I don't. Any ideas/comments/suggestions? Thanks.
