-- Thanks Dr. M. called ob/gyn and she had me come in yesterday. She tried to aspirate assuming cyst - no go, this golf ball size thing isn't cyst - she set me up with my breast surgeon again and recommends he remove. She couldn't figure out why this was happening and said maybe it is a fibroadenoma gone wild. What is of concern to me is that this has grown in two weeks When I asked about taking estrogen, she pointed out that I had estrogen in my body before so it shouldn't make a difference now. I can and will continue to take premarin once I have reassurance that all these lumps are benign. Where might I find more info on the potential impact of estrogen to breasts? I have looked through many sites including JAMA on the net and can't find anything about reactions like those I am having-nothing but your standard descriptions of side effects. One drug book says that a serious side effect is breast pain or enlargement and to call your doctor immediately which I did. Am I overreacting to all this???? Thanks again(I wil take your counsel and that of my physician and continue premarin).
