Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Docs, so fed up with the lumps" Won't reiterate details of the past, I'm the 50 yr. old who developed new breast lump while on lupron for fibroids.Mam and Ultrasound said cyst. After 5cm cyst was drained during hyst - lump remained. Had lump biopsied one week after lavh and before I started taking Premarin a week ago. Two days ago the same breast became enlarged and feels like there is something the size of a plum with pain sometimes stinging. I'm due to go back to ob/gyn late next week for post hyst check. I'm fed up as this post says - what would you suggest to end this ongoing problem. I'm wondering if estrogen can cause this as Premarin warnings say breast swelling and pain are serious side-effects.
