Greetings - I know Dr. M already answered your questions. Just so you don't feel like you are the only one asking, I am 3 weeks lavh postop. I left the hospital the following afternoon and developed a low grade 100 fever. Brochure I was given said to call if I developed fever over 100.1, so I called and doc told me that it was pretty normal for this, however to call back in the morning if the fever didn't disappear(which it did). I wondered the same thing about driving and never asked as I didn't need any pain pills beyond two regular tylenol just once.
