BBT or ovulation kits (BBT being better because of the irregularity of the cycle and the cost of the kits). 38-40 days isn't bad. If you're having a problem with this, however, get throid function tests and a prolactin level. These are treatble causes of longer cycles. If you're not ovulating, Clomid and/or Glucophage may be good choices.
