Indications of impending labour?

Just a quick question..I'm due on the 7th of February with number 5...with all the others had rupture of membranes as onset of labour.. This time seems to be different....lots of strong braxton hicks, enough to make me think this is the real thing... and now I'm leaking colostrum with the braxton hicks...is this significant in any way? Also, if my membranes do rupture, what is the current thinking on waiting and not inducing if labour doesn't start, if there is no sign of distress or infection? Last thing, what is now considered ok in regards to overdue baby..it used to be that you weren't let go more than 2 weeks...is there any reason for this, as long as the baby and the mother are ok?

With many thanks for your advice, on this and in the past!!!
