Dear Linda,

I unfortunatly am also a member of the breast cancer group. I'm two years out this April.

You seem to be on the late side of menopause but "better late then never", as the saying goes.

You need to know First if you were estrogen negitive or postive. Thats on your path report.

Estrogen does not cause wrinkling of skin or escalate aging, in fact, it's suppose to do Just the Opposite! It also aids in prevention of Osteoporosis and is believed to help prevent heart disease in aging women. Thats the good things is does. You can only find out if you should or should not take HRT from your physician who knows your medical condition.

As to the re-contruction, it wokd best on women with extra flesh/fat. The body parts are taken from the abdomen and if there is a surplice all the better! This is about the Only time it's nice to be full-sized...

A plastic surgeon who does Many of these surgeries is the best place to start. I do know of a women who had this surgery and is is long 10 hours or so and she did very well.

I send you the best for whatever decisions you make.
