Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Estrogen yes or no?" I am nearing 57 years old. I had breast cancer and a mysectomy 20 years ago. It was a year between my last two menstrual cycles. I'm having some problems with hot flashes but not severe. My concern is whether I should have hormone replacement (estrogen) or not. I heard it effects bones and escalates aging and wrinkling of skin. Another question is whether it is possible to have breast reconstruction years after surgery? Thank you for your time.
