You're going to the wrong doctor. Find someone comfortable with this, like a gyn endocrine, medical endocrine or a gyn knowledgable in this problem. The thinning is occurring despite the Demulin, not because of it. You need to look into adding spironolactone to the medication. That combo is what we frequently use for your problem.

You nedd hormone levels including but not limited to thyroid function testing and anti thyroid microsomal antibodies (to check for subclinical thyroid problems that the first set of tests might miss). Also the standard tests any good gyn should know.

As above. If your doctor doesn't feel comfortable with this, you may need to consult another. Heck, it's your body.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
