Oops! Sounds like you may have a hernia; I had one after I had my son 4 years ago. Actually, I let it go for quite a while, but it started to bother me, and as well it was very bothersome to look at (even though I don't wear a bikini!!). The surgery was no problem at all (done on outpatient basis; just couldn't lift anything for awhile), and it was wonderful to get rid of the protrusion. There are some things you have to watch for, because it can strangulate - but I'm sure that the doctors here will give you more info than I can offer. Just wanted to tell you that it is easily repaired if indeed you do have a hernia. Regards, Jean S.
