thinning hair/ low libido

I started taking Demulen about 7 years ago. After the 1st year I told my doc that my hair seemed to be getting thinner and was told that the Demulen couldn't cause this -- that my hair just seemed thinner because my perm had grown out. I have mentioned this problem to several docs since and have been told the same thing. I am only 27 and my scalp is clearly visible in my bangs and around a cowlick on the top-back of my head. I keep taking the Demulen because no one has suggested anything else (or even taken me seriously). Is it at all reasonable to think that this BCP might be causing me hair loss (or poor regrowth)? What do I say to a doctor to get them to take my concern seriously?

In addition, I have also had almost no sex drive since my son was born three years ago. Could this be connected to my thinning hair? I have trouble with vaginal dryness, but the only suggestion I get from my doctor is to use lots of KY, but even the KY burns. It just seems like my body should work better than this at my age. Could I have some sort of hormonal imbalance? How do I pursue this with my doc?

Thanks
