Not uncommonly after going off the pill, a woman's cycles may become irregular and she may be late. Does she have any other symptoms of pregnancy like nausea, breast tenderness or fatigue? If she does, then I suggest making an investment in a doctor visit. If not, wait a little while longer to see if a period starts. Of course, use condoms in the meantime, unless you want to risk pregnancy if it hasn't already happened.
