Ovarian Pain/Dr. advice

I've been having ovary pain over the last several months that I've never experienced before. I've always had ovary pain when I ovulate but this is different. On a few occasions I've had severe abdominal and back pain that subsides after about 15 minutes. I suspect that perhaps I had a cyst rupture. I had two episodes within a few weeks. Is it likely I could have had two cysts rupture that closely? At first I wasn't sure if it was back or ovary related because I have severe back problems anyway. It was as if my back was numb and spasming during these episodes, which happened several months ago. However, lately I've had very sharp pains in my ovaries before, during, and after my period. I also am very nauseated and have a terrible headache. Can cysts cause headaches and nauseousness? My periods only last three days at the most. Could this be endo? Also, I know I'm going to have to find a doctor for this. (My regular doctor left town several years ago and I haven't gotten a new one yet.) I go to a rheumatologist regularly for Fibromyalgia and have been to so many doctors over the past few years that I never got around to getting a new doctor for other concerns. However, this is prompting me to go to see someone. There are two doctors I'm considering and one is in town and the other one is out of town. If I need to have an ultrasound or other test can it be done in the dr's office or the hospital? Can I have the tests done in the hospital in town even if I go to the doctor in the other town? If I were to need surgery, do all gyn's necessarily perform surgery? I'm sorry for all the questions! I would really appreciate any advice on this. Thank you. Lynn
