I don't know if you are even still pregnant or not, but I wanted to comment on the dr trying to strip your membranes and you not being dilated. For the dr to be able to strip your membranes, you must be dilated at least enough for one finger to be inserted through the cervix (which would be 1cm dilated). So that's something! :) Otherwise, what was said about 40 weeks being just an average is right on target. So, you who wants to be just average? :) The good news is that the thinner your cervix is when you start labor, the easier it will dilate (in most cases). Keep us posted, please!
