Unexplained Chronic Vaginal PainFrom: anjali (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 7 Jan 1998 17:55:43 -0600 (CST)
In previous messages, my story about my mysterious pain has already been told. I have received answers such as going to a vulvar clinic and that the pain is due to spasms. I have consulted my gyn. and he said that steroid injections would only take away the pain for a few hours, but I'm sure the results are different for different people. Also, my doctor told me that in the pain clinics, they don't know how to inject it, where to inject it! Here's Canada for ya!!! I am in a great amount of pain and it is very hard for me to continue with my studies for I am in Engineering which requires my full undivided attention. I desperately need a cure, answer, suggestion and ADDRESSES! Please if anyone knows of a vulvar clinic in Ontario, Canada, or closest surroundings, I would be most appreciative if I could get the address or phone # or email so that I can contact them. The pain is so bad right now that I am unable to walk. My doctor also says that this is due to extreme emotional stress as I am going through some difficult times, but what I don't understand is that all my concentration goes towards the pain and I don't even have time to remember the other parts of my life. I have learned to put my problems past me and make myself strong to endure the constant pain. Could this really be an answer? Emotional Stress? How can the feelings that I have induce such real, physical pain? If anyone out there knows of any information which might help me, please please send a message or email me personally. And to all of those that have already replied to me with suggestions I thank you greatly. May God Bless You All.
