No one can really diagnose this over the internet. There could be a problem, then again it could be the normality of still being a teenager. I remember a couple of times when I was in my late teens that I was having a period every two weeks! Another time I went without one for a short time. From my experience and what I've heard, it's normal to have menstrual irregularites in the teen years. A gyn exam is *normally* painless. I admit that my first one hurt, but there are other reasons behind that. It was being done by a cold-mannered Army doctor and I was sexually abused as a child. It was a psychological reaction that made it hurt. Under Normal Circumstances, it will not hurt!! I haven't had any problems since. The whole thing is quick and painless. If I were you, I think that I'd see a doctor. It would at least bring peace of mind. Hope that I've helped reassure you. AnnMarie
