I had a HSG(x-ray test to see if the f.tubes are open) and the doc. found a polyp in my uterus. As suggested, I went through hysteroscopy 3 weeks ago. He found a lot of polyps instead of just one, and did a D&C. I know exactly what you're going through about the general anesthesia, but it wasnt so bad. I didnt even know when they started my anesthesia because they give you this shot to relax you before you go into the OR, and I dont remember anything after that. If you're trying to get pregnant like me, I'd go ahead with the hysteroscopy, it's hard to keep track of your cycle with spotting in between. I'm no doctor but this is just my opinion. Good Luck!
