Wiht your history of several infections with an IUD, I'd worry about your tubes -- you should have either 1) an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) -- dye is injected into the uterus and x-rays are taken to see if it spills out the tubes or 2) a saline infusion sonography using a special albumin material that can show whether the tubes are open via ultrasound or 3) a laparoscopy. #3 might be the best single choice considering you were diagnosed with endometriosis in hte past -- I'd combine the laparoscopy with a hysteroscopy. Good luck.
