Iread Dr MArchbein's reply and I agree with him -- have a full hormonal/endocrine work-up.Alos, get a CBC (blood count) and sed rate to look for infection. Possible explanations range from premature menopause (I think from a prior post you are pretty young??) to thyroid malfunction to a low grade infection to endometriosis to some really wierd stuff. Have you traveled to any foreign countries recently? (that falls in the category of "wierd stuff", a highly technical medical term ;-) ) I also agree that an ultrasound is in order.
