I have the same problem. I don't wear a jacket unless it's way below 30 degrees. But enough about me.

Best thing to do now is treat your symptoms. BTW, have your doctors done a full blood hormonal workup (I know you said the TFT were normal)? I'd also be interested in a sonohysterogram to delineate the problem with the uterus and abnormal bleeding.

Progesteron supplementation can reduce the hot flushes and can be tried. There's also another medication - Clonidine, I think, that can be used for the flushes. Have your doctor check this out.

What I've learned from Dr. Shanahan is the use of black cohash (Remifemin) for this in some patients as well as Vitamin E 400IU 2-3 times a day, trying to schedule a dose around the time of maximum flushes (if there is such a time). Of note is a recent report of potential negative effects from high doses of Vitamin E (greater than 400 IU so I'd use this last possibilty if all else fails at you're at the end of your rope).
