Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: profassi during pregnancy" I am six weeks pregnant after having taken 100 mgs of Clomid daily during my last menstrual cycle along with a profassi injection on day 12. Before I took profassi, a blood test showed that my progesterone levels were abnormally low. During my first and second cycle of clomid they normalized. Now that I am pregnant my doctor has recommended I continue having a profassi injection once a week until the fifteenth week of pregnancy. Could you tell me please if this is necessary and what possible side effects there might be ?
