Adenomyosis is the lining of the uterus going into the deeper muscle layer of the uterus. It may have the same ability to develop into cancer as the uterine lining itself. To get rid of it, a hysterectomy is the treatment. Still don't know why you need to get rid of it. Uncontrollable bleeding?
