Treatment of Lichens Sclerosus

From: Annette (anonymous@obgyn.net)

I read all the external treatments of vulvar lichens sclerosus. How about a treatment for the disease that has moved INTO the vagina? Many patients with systemic illnesses involving neuropathies are experiencing this phenomena. One cannot put these creams inside the body. Has anyone ever noticed a CYCLICAL pattern in the flare-ups of this disease, e.g., a worsening at ovulation followed by relief upon menstruation? It's happening. Any suggestions?
