Dr. Marchbein, I can't seem to get the hang of the reply to messages as I am a novice on this forum and for that matter the internet. Reason for my hysterectomy is fibroids have grown to problem size with pressure on bladder and terrible monthly problems with heavy periods etc. Lupron was to shrink in prep for hopefully less invasive procedure(lavh). Thanks so much for advice on breast lump - although unnerving, your message will spur me to action now rather than waiting. One more question, I have been faithful with mammograms and physicals annually since age 40. I also have been seeing surgeon to track that fibroadenoma that disappeared with lupron therapy. How could something invassive possibly grow so fast? I last saw the surgeon in October for check and I had physical with primary care physician in Sept. Is it possible everyone could miss this new lump on top of my breast, particularly since it is so large?
