Anne, Dr. MarchbeinFrom: Laura (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 19 Dec 1997 20:02:56 -0600 (CST)
Thanks for your responses! I have tried to gain weight...but it hasn't worked. I eat right and all, but everyone in my family is small and I have a really high metabolism. Exercise...well...I walk all over campus, but that's about it. I will try to get my NP to do a blood test...possibly on Mon. to check my levels. However, it's a free clinic, so I think they are reluctant to do all that, etc. Hopefully, since I've been there a few times and they know what's up, they may go ahead and check them to be sure. I have the TCOYF book, but haven't started charting since I haven't had a period (just got the book a couple of weeks ago). I have 2 more questions... 1.) Is there any other information I should ask for when I talk to the NP? Like, anything I can use to persuade them to do a blood test?? 2.) Would there be any use in me charting my temps until I do start, and then say....starting a new chart for the cycle? I really do appreciate your patience and all your help!
