OPK/Clomid Requirements

Just saw my doctor. I must say that I'm a little upset. I think that it's more with me than him because I can see his right. I have to blame my own ignorance.

This past cycle I used the OPK's that I had left over from last month. Well, I ran out a day early and rather than spend another $20+ again for the one more day I needed, I just quit there and hoped that this would be "the" month. Because I quit a day too early, my doctor said that he wouldn't up the Clomid. He than marked me as "anovulation" for a Dx code.

I know for a *fact* that I O'd and right on time. Always have come up positive on the OPK's, but they are only +++ on the actual day that I ovulate. I can feel it, even more-so on Clomid. Of course, this is all a little frustrating because I didn't realize the difference that one day would make. I know it's all individual, but would you other doctors have treated this situation the same way?
