Braxton-Hicks Contractions

Dear Doctors and Friends,

I was wondering if there was a set period of time for Braxton-Hicks contractions to start. After 30 weeks? earlier? Any moms out there who had them very early and were pretty sure that is what they were? Last pregnancy I had them at 18 weeks and then went into preterm labor at 31 weeks. Dr was pretty sure they were B-H at 18 weeks(he felt them).I was curious as to a possible correlation... Last night and again today I (think) felt two B-H contractions. each lasted only about 20-30 seconds and were totally painless. The thing is...I am only 15 weeks 2days. Could it be something else making my stomach tighten and get hard?? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
