hysteroscopic operation, how long for recovery?

Next week I will have to undergo a hysteroscopic/laparoscopic operation to remove a complete septum. According to the surgeon, recovery would be so fast that I would be able to resume work after only two days! To me this sounds somehow exaggerated. I will have to stay in the hospital for two nights. Is this true, or should I count on a longer period of recovery?
