Ruptured Cyst?? I wrote last Sunday, Nov 23 -- SEVERE LOWER ABDOMINAL PAIN. I finally had enough of my pain and other symptons and returned to the GYN. He gave me an internal exam and definitely felt an abnormality near the right ovary. He suggested BC pills but I was taken off them (by fam. physician) 5 yrs ago for high blood pressure and other problems. Then he said I should consider a HYSTERECTOMY. Is this the step I should take ? Are there any other tests, scans, etc, I should have lst? There must be a reason for the severe pain I experienced last Sept. I've seen 4 doctors since then. They've all been kind & understanding but have not been able to agree as to what is going on. Thanks in advance for an answer. -- Alice P.
