Karla,

Outside of the hemorrhoids, how are you doing? I hope things are getting easier.

Hemorrhoids are not related to the D&C. Nothing about a D&C could cause them. Best thing to do is treat them symptomatically.

Get either Preparation H, or 1% over the counter cortisone and apply a couple of times a day. Also, if you put Milk of Magnesia in the frig or freezer and then apply the MOM on a wash cloth to the hemorrhoids. The magnesium helps to shrink the 'rrhoids a bit and makes you more comfortable while waiting for it to clear. In the hospital we would use epsom salts and witch hazel (the epsom salts contain magnesium, too).
