I believe that kids should be raised knowing the proper terms, too, at any age. My in-laws and husband have their own words for small children, so rather than confuse her I went along with the others. In reference to something really specific, like if she got a yeast infection from an antibiotic or whatever, I tell her the proper name. I have been trying to build more on this gradually. I have only used the term 'pee-pee' to generalize the whole area. What I am worried about here is I don't want her to get confused about what's what and where. I have a picture that I am going to show her again and try to explain some more. I'm looking for more ideas on how to go about explaining these hard to visualize parts.
