My ultrasound of the 5th week shows a fetus of only 3 mm and no heartbeat. My ultrasound of 6-7 week shows 7 mm fetus and no heartbeat yet. the HCG count (quantity) for the last ultrasound is 83,000 units. Is there any chance for this pregnancy to succeed ? my doctor suggested that i do another HCG count in a few days, and another ultrasound before making a decision.
