>Cool! We can whine to each other! ;) Don't know much about it...drug book is out in the car and it's too nasty out to go dig around till I find it! Here's the scoop that the doc gave me. It tricks the ovaries into producing more follicles. He said the chance of twins is about 1 in 10. Didn't mention quads or triplets...I mention that because I read some posts on another forum about a lady and her friend who each had quads after one month of the stuff...but, apparently, that is unlikely and given the people I have known on it...twins was it! whew! hehe I have also read various other odds...3-5%, 5-8% etc. Don't know what the latest literature says about it! He also said you take it for 5 days and then start doing "homework" at least every other day. He said to expect some hot flashes and told my hubby to get some protective gear because I would be "gritchy," (combination grouchy and, well, you get it! :) ) He gave me 3 months supply after doing a pelvic exam, while on my period, YUK! and he told me to come back if no luck after that point and he'll follow things closer. He seems to think I just need a little nudge! He also gave me a little chart to keep track of menses, basal body temps, intercourse, etc. I have had 4 kids and was never had these problems conceiving before so it's all new territory. So, ladies, give us the real front-line scoop on things!
