I have been reading this site for approx 10 days now & see where alot of women have been diagnosed with adenomyosis (such as I have been)I had even posted a question previously asking for info on Lap/Hyst (partial, I am keeping my ovaries)I did not get much response, I'm to the point of just dealing with it, seems there are no straight answers for every woman, just very individualized reactions. I do have another question today, what is adenomyosis? I know that I have severe pain, bleeding & unbelievable swelling (looks like I am about 5 months pregnant) that starts about 2 1/2 weeks prior to the first day of my cycle. I have been told that my blood vessels on my uteris are severly swollen and abnormal. Is this the meaning of adenomyosis? My hysterectomy is scheduled for Dec 3rd. I would really appreciate a response from anyone who can help....... Thanks
