Further, my son is 2 weeks old, and my wife has an r-v fistula, even a 2nd attempt
at the episiotomy did not repair. She is very uncomfortable with it, and I feel she has other
options besides waiting 3 months to see if it "might heal on its own."

Should we press our doctor to try another repair? Or must she continue leaking for 3 months and then try again?
