Carol,

Where on G-d's earth do you live that it's a "laborious procedure of trying to set up a doctor's appointment"?

This has gone on a few cycles already. Did the doctor want you to wait or just the doctor's nurse? If the doctor is that busy, is he/she that good or just that busy?

Although probably nothing other than normal hormone irregularities commonly seen from the mid to late 30s and thereafter, an endometrial biopsy would be appropriate. Occasionally, a vaginal sonogram can give info as well as a sonohysterogram (sonogram instilling sterile saline into the uterine cavity). These are all good options.

Good luck and if it's too hard and "laborious" to get a doctor's appointment, get another good doctor.
