Hi Connie,

As a retired nurse And a complete hysterectomy person my answer to your question is coming from my experience being in both places.... WALK, WALK, WALK.... If it kills you just keep walking. It's not a lot of fun those first few days, but it works. This realy helps. It gets that gas OUT. Also make sure those bowels get working FAST.
