Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Postponing Period" Yes, I was misdiagnosed and I am searching desperatly to learn how it could have happened. The bottom line was two miss read pap smears.(1995 - ClassII read as I and 96 - Class IV read as I, biopsy - severe dysplasia) After my biopsy, I had LEEP which found invasive cancer StageIB. I just feel lost in tring to put all the pieces together. The colpo done 3 months prior to discovering all this showed my cervix looked great. We were tring to have a baby and had no indication of what was ahead(other than what I told in my first post] I had a radical hysterectomy w/ bi-lateral lymph node dysection. Two nodes were postive with microscopic traces, so I underwent radiation. It was quite a year. Thank you for your previous responses and concern. Next message: Harvey S.
