Unopposed hormonal replacement therapy (means estrogen without progestin) may cause bleeding, and after a long time may favour cancer. Endometrial cancer is now, after only 2 years, highly improbable. Biopsy is then not a must if you undergo a hysterectomy. If not yoy will have to have a D&C and a progestin treatment added to estratest if you want to keep your uterus.

In my opinion hormonal replacement therapy is much simplier without the uterus and avoids the risk of further endometrial cancer.
