What I still would like to know is if a progesterone-releasing iud is also an option after this surgery. You mention estrogen treatment, but how about progesterone? I heard of a new iud, Merena. Don't know if it's the same in the US, but I believe it releases progesterone. We do plan to go ahead and try again to become pregnant after the removal of the iud.
