PLEASE HELP!From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 10 Nov 1997 13:59:34 -0600
I am in sooo much pain that I spend hours and even days flat on my back because sitting or standing at length is so uncomfortable and as the pain increases I can do nothing else. My physician has been of no help. I suspect rectocele, maybe more (because I am so surprised to read that rectocele does not usually cause discomfort. The pain is various. I get a "band" of pain (weakness/ tenderness) from the navel area that seems to go through the vagina. Much of the pain is at the vagina/rectum but also intensely at--I have said, YES, at the clitoris--though that may be the site of the ureter. My history includes one childbirth, two laproscopy procedures for endometriosois and a hysterectomy in July of 96 (LAVH). I am 44 years old. As a business owner raising a child and with aging parents who has time to be idle?? I love being busy. I just have no strength. I am most eager for your response. Thank you!
