I went off of it last year, and had some of my worst symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome came back (muscular weakness in my left leg). I went back on the depo-provera, and the symptoms went away. The problem I have is that I am now 40 years old, and no one can tell me how long I can continue on the depo. I would be pleased to be on it indefinitely, but what about menopause? Thanks!
