Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Infertility" A close family member is trying to concieve with no luck:( She is 26 yrs old, has no children and has been off the pill since December of '95. She has been trying since then. About 5 yrs ago she had a cyst removed from an ovary and the doctor told her to be very careful because she was so fertile at the time. Now she's wondering if scar tissue might have built up and that is the cause of her problems. She's going to see a specialist in a few weeks, but as you can imagine she's very anxious to get some answers. Could the scar tissue affect her fertility.
